UK Sandbags Delivery Policy

Delivery Services & Charges

Please Note: UK Sandbags reserves the right to charge redelivery fees where the initial delivery fails.

Standard Delivery (Free in Eligible Areas):

• Delivery Time: 48 to 72 hours, Monday to Friday.
• Order Cut-off: Orders placed before 1 pm are dispatched the same day; orders placed after 1 pm are dispatched the following day.
• Delivery Window: Between 8 am and 5 pm.

Next Day Delivery (£20 Fee):

• Order Cut-off: Available for orders placed before 1 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Weekend Orders: Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

Note: We only deliver within the UK (not EU or Northern Ireland). Please note our excluded area extra delivery charge policy.

Large Orders (Over 500 Sandbags):

• For orders over 500 sandbags, please contact us directly for a bespoke quote and tailored delivery costs.

Delivery Schedule (Order Day vs. Delivery Day)

Delivery Process

• Delivery Network: Managed through Palletforce, a national pallet network.
• Curbside Drop-offs: All deliveries are made to the curbside. A representative must be present to accept the delivery unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Tail-Lift Only: All deliveries are made using tail-lift vehicles. We do not use cranes or HIABs for unloading.

Important Notes on Access & Customer Responsibilities

Access and Safety:

• Adequate space is required for an 18-ton vehicle to park and offload at the curbside.
• UK Sandbags must be informed of any access issues in advance. Failure to do so may result in order cancellation, with potential costs passed to the customer.
• The delivery point must have hard-standing ground for safe offloading.

Customer Responsibilities:

• Ensure someone is available at the delivery point to accept the delivery, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• For smaller vehicle requirements or delivery challenges, please contact UK Sandbags to discuss accommodations.

Holiday Exclusions:

• No deliveries on Bank or Public Holidays.

You can not order online to these selected postcodes; please contact us for shipping costs.

Excluded Postcodes:

• Perth, Scotland: PH15+
• Kirkwall, Scotland: KW1-14
• Isle of Man: IM (all IM postcodes)
• Guernsey & Jersey: GY, JE
• Inverness, Scotland: IV41-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, PA20+

For deliveries to these postcodes, we charge the following set fees:

• Standard Delivery Fee: £114.00
• Next Day Delivery Fee: £154.00

Note:

• IV postcodes 1-3, 5, and 8-10 are eligible for free delivery.
• We do not deliver to Northern Ireland or EU locations—only mainland UK.
